On our third day in Israel, we took a tour of the Temple Mount with our guide, Carol Ann. Although we had already seen the glimmering roof of the Dome of the Rock from rooftops and watched Jews pray at the Western Wall from buildings above, walking on Mount Moriah itself was an amazing experience heightened by the education we received while walking past al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock, and the Little Western Wall.
